Trainee Engineer

Do you want to start a career on our river cruise ships, without having any experience yet?
Via our traineeship for Engineers you can learn and study to become an engineer on one of our river cruise ships. As an engineer on our river cruise ship, you are responsible for the maintenance of the engine room and the vessel’s technical affairs. You ensure that all the ship’s equipment and machinery are always in good working condition and are operated safely, efficiently, economically, and in an environmentally responsible manner. You also keep records of the repair and maintenance of the ship’s equipment and machinery.

Your profile

• Real talent and passion for engineering, maintenance & deck work
• Technical background
• Willingness and ability to learn
• Very good knowledge of English language
• Able to swim
• Previous experience in the nautical department is an advantage
