Do you have a talent for navigation and a passion for safety?
As a steersman, you are responsible. The steersman supervises all the work performed by the sailors. He keeps the captain and second captain informed regarding all aspects of deck work and maintenance. Assisting with the safe navigation and manoeuvring of the vessel together with the second captain and captain. Scylla Academy will fully support your training path.

Your profile:

• Willingness and ability to learn and take the necessary exams
• Knowledge of German and/or English language
• Valid Captain license for Rhine or Danube is a plus
• Experience on river cruise ships is a plus
• VHF license
• Certificates for First aid, safety expert and/or BDO are a plus
• Hospitality-oriented personality representative appearance
